The ‘Working Well’ brief was one of 11 briefs that I could choose from as part of the Royal Society of Art’s competition. It tasked me to design a way to promote greater productivity and well-being in the workplace. After researching into the topic, I found that the strain on mental health that many people experience at work is the main cause of lack of productivity, and so decided to focus the project around calling for employees to take a break during the day and care for themselves. I did this through creating a planner aimed at clerical workers that included features such as a H2O tracker, aims for the day and a space to draw and write down thoughts. I teamed this with screensavers reminding employees to take breaks and posters designed for the tube giving the same messages.
